Supporting local charities – St Luke’s Hospice
St Luke’s has been providing palliative care to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Last year we supported over 1,000 local people with a huge range of support from end of life care on our ward to supporting carers, and from helping children cope with grief to helping patients return to work after an illness.

Save the Children lead the way on tackling problems like pneumonia, hunger and protecting children in war, while making sure each child’s unique needs are cared for. They find new ways to reach children who need them the most, no matter where they’re growing up.
For a century, they have stood up for children and made sure their voices are heard. Save the Children wrote the treaty that sets out the rights of every child, and have been upholding them every day since.
